Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has unveiled the shortlist for the Glasgow Business Awards 2025 – and Loco Home is delighted to be recognised in not one, but two categories.
We have been nominated for The Glasgow Business Award for Net Zero Achievement and The Glasgow Business Award for Community Wealth Building, both sponsored by Glasgow City Council.
Chris Carus, Chief Executive of Loco Home said:
“These nominations reflect Loco Home’s commitment to helping homeowners play their part in tackling the climate crisis, while cutting their bills and getting cosier.

“Working out where to start with home energy improvements can be overwhelming. Loco Home provides people with independent, expert advice, a tailored plan and guidance along the way.
“The nominations also recognise our work to raise the quality of retrofit by using our cooperative model to connect homeowners with vetted local tradespeople. This builds confidence, ensures lasting value and creates opportunities for tradespeople to upskill and grow their businesses. By keeping investment local, we help recirculate wealth in the community, strengthening both place and the economy.”
The annual awards recognise and celebrate the success of Glasgow based businesses and individuals across 17 categories. Winners will be announced at a ceremony later this year.
